About Elevate Talent

Bridging the representation gap for underrepresented communities in tech and innovation.

Elevate Talent equips professionals from underrepresented communities with the skills and credentials they need to build thriving careers in the tech and innovation industry.
Tech is one of the fastest growing sectors in Canada, but its workforce fails to reflect our nation’s diversity. As established companies expand and new startups emerge, there are thousands of open roles in the industry, and Elevate Talent is using this gap as a unique opportunity to introduce diverse
talent to the sector.
Supported by Federal Development Agency of Southern Ontario and the City of Toronto
Supported by community, employment, and learning partners
Powered by a diverse, dedicated, and passionate team

At Elevate Talent, promoting diversity and equity in tech isn’t an afterthought. The program was specifically designed to break down the barriers to success in tech for Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, 2SLGBTQ+, and Francophone professionals. From culturally sensitive skills training and micro-credentialling to equity-informed employment support, Elevate Talent levels the playing field for underrepresented communities in the tech sector.
