Gain hands-on experience creating a digital marketing strategy. Whether you’re starting out or complementing an existing skill set, you'll begin with the basics, learning about personas, mapping out the customer journey, and defining campaign objectives. With the fundamentals of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM), you’ll get up to speed with the digital tools and platforms that can equip you for a successful career in digital marketing.

Course Details

Course Outline:

  • 10 weeks of online training
  • 1 hour per week of live technical training on a weekday
  • 1 hour per week of live office hours session with the instructor
  • Up to 2 hours per week of live success program session
  • 5-7 hours per week of self paced learning
  • Participant showcase on the last week of the program where participants will present the project they completed in the course to a panel of industry experts and potential hiring managers

What you'll learn:

  • Define key customer audiences, objectives, and common social media strategies
  • Design and optimize the digital marketing mix for business objectives
  • Analyze common search engine strategies (SEO, SEM)
  • Design and develop a digital marketing strategy aligned to business needs/organizational context
  • Critically reflect on and justify the approach taken to create a digital marketing strategy
