Who We Serve

Elevate Talent was founded as a direct response to the underrepresentation of Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, 2SLGBTQ+ and Francophone professionals in the Canadian tech industry.

Why? Because we know that there is boundless untapped talent in those communities. Because we recognize that diversity strengthens every industry. Because we realize that some barriers cannot be broken down by hard work alone.

We provide skills training, micro-credentialing, and certification to people over the age of 16 who come from underserved communities and are:

• Re-entering the workforce after a break in their career
• New to Canada and need support navigating the job market
• Passionate about tech but lack formal education in the industry
• Ready for a career pivot and looking for new, in-demand skills
• Eager to match their current skills to opportunities in tech

We work with our large network of employment partners to make sure that, whatever our participants’ backgrounds, we provide valuable training and match them to job opportunities that meet their career goals.
